General Questions

What is Swapli?

Swapli is a Swiss-based platform for exchanging items using tokens. Users can list, buy, and sell items by using tokens.

How does the token system work?

Tokens are the currency of our platform. You can purchase tokens to acquire items, or earn tokens by selling your own items. Tokens are safely held in escrow until the transaction is completed.

Token Questions

How do I buy tokens?

You can purchase tokens from the Tokens page. We accept credit cards via Stripe. Token packages are available with various discounts.

Do tokens expire?

Yes, tokens expire after a period of inactivity to encourage active trading on the platform. Exact expiry times can be found in settings.

Can I get a refund?

All token purchases are final. We recommend buying only what you plan to use.

Product Questions

How do I list an item?

Click on "List New Item" and fill out the form. After admin approval, your item will be visible to buyers.

How many images can I add?

You can add up to 5 images per product. The first image is used as the main photo.

What happens if my item is rejected?

You will receive an email with the rejection reason. You can edit the item and resubmit it for approval.

Transaction Questions

How does a transaction work?

1. Buyer confirms purchase โ†’ Tokens are deducted from balance
2. Private chat is activated
3. Both parties arrange a meeting
4. Seller scans buyer's QR code
5. Transaction completed โ†’ Tokens are transferred to seller

Can I cancel a transaction?

After physical meeting, no refunds are possible. Before the meeting, you can cancel the transaction, but penalty fees may apply.

How secure is Swapli?

We use modern encryption technologies and an escrow system to protect your transactions. All sensitive data is stored encrypted.

Where should I meet?

Always meet in a safe, public location. Never share personal information before purchase confirmation.
